01 · What you get

A finished product, not a starting point

What arrives is a working app, rather than a template you still have to configure or a prototype you still have to finish.

The working app

A web, mobile or installable app, which can live on a phone home screen, built against your requirements rather than a one-size-fits-all starter kit.

Everything needed to run it

A plain-language guide to using and maintaining it, plus a completed checklist confirming every feature you asked for actually works. The code is yours to keep, on infrastructure you control.

02 · The process

Five steps from rough idea to finished app

You stay out of the weeds. You see the result.

03 · Who this suits

Best for one thing done well

If your idea is clear and scoped, this is built for you.

A local business owner

You need a booking form, a scheduling tool, a staff tracker or a customer-facing tool, and you do not want to spend months learning to build it.

A solo founder

You have a clear, scoped idea and want a real first version without hiring a development team to get there.

Anyone holding a $20,000 quote

You have been quoted by an agency and you suspect the scope does not justify the number.

This works best for apps that do one thing well: a booking form, a simple inventory tracker, a customer directory, a request queue. A complex multi-role platform integrating with five external systems is still possible, but it moves beyond standard scope and costs more. You will know that before you decide.

04 · Pricing

Scope-based, no surprises

Scope is defined together before any commitment. If your idea turns out larger than standard, you find out before you decide to proceed, not afterwards.

Small projects
$500 to $1,000

A small website or a single landing page. Clean, fast, mobile-ready, and everything needed to go live.

Standard projects
$2,000 to $8,000

Scope-dependent and confirmed in writing before any work begins.

05 · Who builds it

Design-led, intentionally small

This is run by Nick McInnis, a UX and service designer based in Squamish, BC, with eight years designing digital products and services, who has personally built and shipped apps to the App Store using AI-assisted workflows.

Most AI app services can generate code but cannot tell you whether the result is usable. Most freelance developers can build something functional but have never thought hard about whether a real person can figure it out in thirty seconds. The gap between those two is where this sits.

It is deliberately small. There is no team being scaled and no subscription being sold. The work is taken on selectively, for clients who can be worked with directly.

06 · Get in touch

Describe your idea

Even a rough description is enough to start. You get a reply within one business day with an honest read on whether it is a good fit, and a clear next step either way.

Prefer email? Write to nick@elementedu.io directly. A few sentences is plenty.

Or build it
yourself

If you would rather learn to make it than have it made, the twelve-week program teaches exactly this, and you keep the skill afterwards.
