Done-for-you AI app builds

Your app idea,
built and delivered.

AppForge builds working apps for small businesses and solo founders. No technical team required on your end. You describe what you need; you receive a finished product.

A finished product, not a starting point.

Not a template you have to configure yourself. Not a prototype. A real, working app, handed over ready to use.

📱

The working app

A web, mobile, or installable app (it can live right on a phone home screen) built to your specifications and handed over ready to use.

Built against your requirements, not a one-size-fits-all starter kit.

📋

Everything to run it

Every delivery includes a plain-language guide on how to use and maintain the app, plus a completed checklist confirming that everything you asked for actually works.

The code is yours to keep. No lock-in.

How it works.

Five clear steps from a rough idea to a finished, verified app. You stay out of the weeds; you just see the result.

1

Intake

You fill out a short structured form describing what the app should do, who uses it, and what it needs to look like. One conversation to clarify anything unclear, then work begins.

2

Spec

Before writing a line of code, you get a plain-language spec listing every screen and feature. You review it and confirm it matches what you had in mind.

3

Build

The app is built against the agreed spec. You're not watching over a developer's shoulder. You're just waiting for the finished thing.

4

Quality check

Before delivery, every must-have feature is tested against a checklist. You receive the completed checklist alongside the app so you can see exactly what was verified.

5

Handover

You receive the app, a usage guide, and the checklist. The code is yours. If you want changes later, you can hire anyone to make them. No lock-in.

Best for one thing done well.

If your idea is clear and scoped, this is built for you.

A local business owner who needs a booking form, a scheduling tool, a staff tracker, or a customer-facing tool, and doesn't want to spend months learning to build it.
A solo founder with a clear, scoped idea who wants a real first version without hiring a dev team.
Anyone who's been quoted $20,000+ by an agency and suspects the scope doesn't justify that number.

This works best for apps that do one thing well: a booking form, a simple inventory tracker, a customer directory, a request queue. If you need a complex multi-role platform with integrations to five external systems, that's still possible, but it moves beyond standard scope and the project cost will be higher.

Scope-based. No surprises.

Scope is defined together before any commitment. If your idea turns out larger than standard, you'll know before you decide to proceed.

Small projects
$500–1,000
Ideal for a small website or a single landing page. A clean, fast, mobile-ready build with everything you need to go live.

Design-led. Intentionally small.

AppForge is run by Nick McInnis, a UX and service designer based in Squamish, BC with eight years of experience designing digital products and services. I've personally built and shipped apps to the App Store using AI-assisted development workflows.

Most "AI app" services can generate code but can't tell you if the result is actually usable. Most freelance developers can build something functional but have never thought carefully about whether a real person can figure it out in thirty seconds. I've spent years on both sides of that problem.

This service is intentionally small. I'm not scaling a team or selling subscriptions. I build apps for clients I can work with directly, and I'm selective about what I take on.

Describe your idea.

Even a rough description is enough to start. I'll reply within one business day to let you know if it's a good fit and what the next step looks like.

Got it, thanks.
